European Festival Study presentation
The press, festival mamagers and professionals in the art sector are cordially invited to a presentation at Hörsalen, Östasiatiska museet, Skeppsholmen, Saturday 13 October at 11.00 hrs. Lluis Bonet, Director of the Cultural Management Programme, University of Barcelona is coming to Stockholm on the invitation of the Association of Swedish Music Festivals to present the preliminary results and tendencies of the European Study of festivals (FESTudy).
More than 450 music festivals in Europe (and Canada) have participated in the study. Among them 25 festivals from Sweden. The study was conducted from 2011 by a research team of 6-8 scholars headed by Lluis Bonet and the results will be finally assembled in Barcelona in November.
