Musik-art-dance-etc = MADE is on
A red thread on the 2013 festival is the voice and voice capabilities, with several strong singers among the participating artists including El Perro del Mar, Sibille Attar, Ladysmith Black Mambazo from South Africa, the Seattle duo THEESatisfaction, Wildbirds & Peachdrums-vocalist Mariam Wallentin running her solo project Mariam the Believer. For the first time there will also be theatre with acclaimed Blind Summit from England and their gallows, however, theatrical performance The Table.
This year's dance acts will in a variety of ways to explore the relationship between body and mind, says Artisitic Director David Moss and flags for a poetic anxious dance in the French-Tunisian dancer and choreographer Héla Fattoumis new show Masculines.
