Next NordicBaltic Arts Festival Conference in Gdansk

The NordicBaltic Festival Platform have started to prepare for the next NordicBaltic Arts Festival Conference to take place in Gdansk and hosted by The Baltic Sea Cultural Centre. The 2018-conference is likely to go on for two days in October/November as previous years. Following the Working Group meeting in Gdansk in March the dates will be published. Samspel invites festivals to join FasTour

During spring 2018, Samspel launches its second pilot tour model "FasTour". In this tour form, we focus on festivals and organisers who have short planning in their programming. It takes place in spring / summer 2018 and is aimed at the genres pop & rock. You need to be an association or be a similar legal person with F-tax or you hire an invoicing company. You may sign up as a main organizer of FasTour by March 31, 2018 by e-mail to fastour@samspelsverige.se.

Inspiring encounters within the global, the arts and the cultural scene

Some 65 delegates and speaker from 14 countries recently completed the latest version of the annual NordicBaltic Arts Festival Conference hosted by the dual cities Helsingør/Denmark and Helsingborg/Sweden. "...thank you all for a wonderful festival conference last week. It is always great to meet so many inspiring and inspired individuals working within the global, the arts and culture scene..." to quote one the participants.

NordicBaltic Arts Festival Conference - early-bird extended!

We are pleased to announce that the NordicBaltic Festival Platform (NBFP) the first-ever dual-city Conference, takes place on 21-22 November 2017 in Helsingør/Helsingborg (Denmark/Sweden). The two cities are just a 20-minute ferry ride away from each other – across the Sound (Øresund strait). THE EARLY-BIRD REGISTRATION FOR THE 2017 CONFERENCE IS NOW EXTENDED UNTIL NOVEMBER 7TH!

EFFE Label 2017-2018! Who are the Swedish festivals?

In the fall of 2018, the next edition of Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe will start and in spring 2019 we will know what festivals in Europe may hold an EFFE Label until 2021. Here are the Swedish festivals that received a European EFFE Label 2017. We congratulate all 25 festivals for recieving the label which they hold until the next edition of EFFE is a fact. EFFE Award - six remarkable festivals!

EFFE – Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe - is the European Festivals Association’s mark of recognition for Europe’s most exciting arts festivals

Respected festival representatives from across Europe gathered in Brussels on 18 September for the Arts Festivals Salon and announcement of the 2017 EFFE Awards. EFFE is the scheme for the recognition of Europe’s remarkable festivals selected by the European Festivals Association with the support of the European Commission and European Parliament.
