There will be no opera at Dalhalla in August 2014. The Board of Directors of the Association Friends of Dalhalla (FDV) has with great surprise and disappointment received news that Dalhalla Management Ltd (DFAB) hastily decided to grant the operating period critical premiere date 8-9 August 2014 to the commercial operator Rättvik Event and a band playing cover songs.
This decision negates the possiblitiy of an opera production 2014 that was to include famous world singers. The decision affects overall, hundreds of musicians and artists.
