SMF members grow and cooperate more
This year 5 festivals have become new members of the Swedish Music Festivals; Chamber Music Festival in All Saints Church and Festival O/Modernt at Confidencen in Stockholm, Nosaby Choir and Organ Festival in Kristianstad, Strömstad Opera on the West Coast and Baroquefestivalen in Varnhem. Moreover Dalhalla Opera returns with new artistic and administrative leadership and have begun discussions of cooperation on marketing and other issues with Opera på Skäret in Kopparberg.
In Halland,Kungsbacka Chamber Music Festival and Music at the Kattegat in Varberg - with the working title CHANGE - have started the work on creating a new and larger festival.
