The impossible is the most wonderful opportunity

That is the subtitle for this year's Lyckå Chamber Music Festival in the immediate vicinity of Karlskrona. The words most certainly tells us something crucial about what it is to start and run an arts festival. Lyckå Chamber Music Festival celebrates 30 years with honour. The program is dominated by Beethoven from the beginning to the end. But in the middle it picks up the anniversary of Benjamin Britten. One of the highlights is a portrait concert of the Swedish composer Rolf Martinsson with Lisa Larsson, soprano, Roland Pöntinen, piano and Kreutzer Quartet.

The Festival ends July 7th with the Beethoven-Grand Tour made for the festival by Niklas Rådström and includes himself, the jazz trio Berger/Knutsson/Spering, Indra String Quartet, soloists Ann-Margret Nyberg, soprano, Karolina Törlind, alto, Johan Christensson, tenor, John Erik Eleby, bass, the Festival Orchestra Camerata Lyckensis and the Cathedral Choir. Conductor: Berth Nilsson, the Festival's artistic director.
