Sök stöd till jämställd festival 4-25 september 2017
In the autumn of 2017, Musikverket opens for the second time a targeted call for festivals that want to invest in equal programming 2018. The money that the festivals can seek will go straight to fees, travels and accommodation for professionally active free musicians and composers. The call for applications is open from 4 to 25 September, but already now the criteria can be read on Musikverket's website.
Basically, the criteria look like the previous call in 2016. However, "we have listened to the views of the free music community and made a few changes. Previously, it was a requirement to show that a dialogue with artists or booking agencys, already was initiated. We realize that it can be difficult to get it done so long before the festival takes place and have changed it, "says Dan Lundberg, head of the Music Platform.
