Check! - seminars, meeting place and inspiration for organisers of concerts and music events.
Welcome to two creative and contentious days in Västerås, 18-19 November.
Check! Is aimed at you who have been organising for a while, just started to do so or are planning to organise concerts. We aim to strengthen both already established organisers and to help new initiatives over the threshold into the public support system available to music organisers.
Check! Focuses on music, but organisers of other art forms are also welcome.These days will be practically oriented so that you can educate and immerse yourself in organising. Seminars and workshops will be held at different levels.
Check! is to be arranged this year in Region Västmanland's premises at Karlsgatan 2 in Västerås. Information about the venue can be found here: www.karlsgatan2.se

Check! 2017 Arranged by MAIS - Music organizers in Samverkan and Västmanland Region together with Culture in the West, Cultural Education Activities, Cultural Diversity. The MAIS working group also includes the Swedish Orchestra Federation and the Chamber Music Association. CHECK! 2017 is supported by the Culture Council.
