TurnéFest - biggest national live music initiative of the decade
From 5 to 25 November, 26 concerts, in the form of 5 tours, in 17 regions around Sweden in the genres of singer-songwriter music, jazz, chamber music, world music and contemporary art music. Artists are Loke and the ensembles GKN5, Anders Hagberg with Melodic Melange, Odd Size and GAHLMM. Behind TurnéFest is SAMSPEL - an initiative of the association Music Organizers in Cooperation (MAIS), commissioned by the Swedish Performing Arts Agency (Musikverket) to develop and test sustainable models for future tour structures. The purpose is to fill the whole of Sweden with live music from a variety of genres.
