NordicBaltic Festival Platform Conference 2016 - Save the Date!

The upcoming two-day conference in Vilnius - 3-4 November 2016 - is a continuation of the Stockolm-conference last year and a unique opportunity for festival organizers in the Nordic and Baltic countries to meet, exchange experiences and plan artistic and operative partnerships. Festivals in all art forms are involved. As in Stockholm, 6 festivals will be selected to present a project looking for one or more partners in the Nordic and Baltic countries. A call for festivals to submit their project proposals is now available on Nordic Baltic Festival Platform with application details and examples from 2015. The deadline is 10 June so make your application today!

The conference will be opened by the Lithuanian Foreign Minister and includes speeches by the Swedish Ambassador to Lithuania. In panel discussions, group discussions and during the planned network time meeting participants will debate topics as: How would you programme a Nordic-Baltic festival? How can you get the audience to travel around to festivals in the NordicBaltic area? How do festivals use the city space and how can we improve that? 3-4 November in Vilnius will be one of this year's highlight for festivals. Welcome you too!
