National meeting for organizers of music in Sweden
On Saturday, October 7, at 13-16, SAMSPEL call a gathering for Sweden's music organizers and producers. At the meeting - which takes place at the Mediterranean Museum in Stockholm - SAMSPEL's new Tour Web tool, a communication platform for organisers of regional and national tours, is presented as well as SAMSPEL's new tour models. SAMSPEL is a government mission aimed at creating sustainable models for future tour structures across Sweden's regional borders, thus providing better conditions for a live music scene across the country. The governing body for SAMSPEL is MAIS (Music Organisers in Collaboration). Until 2019, together with the various actors of music life, several tour models will be tried to develop long-term meetings between music and audiences. The assignment obviously embraces concepts such as geographical spread, diversity, gender equality and genre breadth.
