Supervirtuoso Antoine Boyer - Uppsala Guitar Festival
En av de mångsidigaste av den nya generationens gitarrister. En musikalisk resa från Gypsy Jazz till klassisk gitarr. Den unge franske gitarrvirtuosen kommer att tolka en blandning av sina favoritlåtar och egna kompositioner arrangerade såväl som improviserade för sologitarr. Uppsala Internationella Gitarrfestival har glädjen att presentera Antoine Boyer. Han var redan vid 12 års ålder den viktigaste Django Reinhardtarvtagaren sedan Bireli Lagrene. Antoine vann redan som 19-åring Montigny Classical Guitar Contest. Han spelade in sin tredje skiva ”Sita” vid 14 års ålder. Boyer har förstås redan spelat på många av de största festivalerna samt arbetat med gitarrister som Philip Catherine, Angelo Debarre, Robin Nolan och Stochelo Rosenberg. Med sig har han den excellenta Yeore Kim på harmonica.

One of the most versatile of the new generation of guitarists. A musical journey from Gypsy Jazz to classical guitar. The young French guitar virtuoso will interpret a mixture of his favorite songs and his own compositions arranged as well as improvised for solo guitar. The Uppsala International Guitar Festival is pleased to present Antoine Boyer. Already at the age of 12, he was the most important Django Reinhard heir since Bireli Lagrene. Antoine already won the Montigny Classical Guitar Contest at the age of 19. He recorded his third album "Sita" at the age of 14. Boyer has of course already played at many of the biggest festivals and worked with guitarists such as Philip Catherine, Angelo Debarre, Robin Nolan and Stochelo Rosenberg. With him is the excellent Yeore Kim on harmonica.
