The Festival Academy (Euroepan Festivals Association) har lanserat en ansökan för den 14: e upplagan av Atelier for Young Festival Managers, som äger rum i Göteborg, 23-29 augusti 2018. Arrangör i Göteborg är Kultur i Väst, med stöd av regionen Västra Götaland. Sweden Festivals arbetar tillsammans med Kultur i Väst om att göra årets atelier till en svensk framgång. Fristen för anmälan är satt till 28 februari, men svenska deltagare är efterfrågade och vi ska göra allt vi kan för att hjälpa dig komma med! Sweden Festivals' medlemmar har 30% rabatt. Upp till 45 deltagare kommer att väljas för ett 7-dagars träningsprogram där olika aspekter av festivalhantering diskuteras med tio kända festivalledare från banbrytande festivaler och utmärkta konstcenter och institut från hela världen.

Each Atelier is characterised by a different host city, its festivals and cultural life. The 14th edition takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden and participants will get to know the many facets of the city through local cultural players, artists and political representatives. Sessions will take place at various venues connected to the local community, hence the cultural life and context of the city will be experienced and analysed as part of the training programme.

Young festival managers from across the globe are invited to apply here by 28 February 2018!
